He's a Japaneses artist who grew up in Boston, studied in Tokyo, and works in New York. His work is phenomenal, please check it out: www.makotofujimura.com. Next semester I have to start on my degree project, so to get some more insight on degree projects I searched "illustration degree projects" into google, and this is what came up first! So cool!
