Hello, Dave here. I'm just posting real quick to say that these images are of 5 dreams that I had this year. I've been keeping a dream journal. At first, it started off as an assignment from school. Now it's kind of escalated to something I'm really interested in. One or two friends of mine an I have been talking about putting together a big, illustrated, anthology of different people's dreams. They all probably be illustrators who contribute and illustrate their own dreams, so I'm imagining this to be a potentially awesome idea. So keep your eyes open for more developments on this, as well as the rest of my degree project pieces. Later!

I really like the idea of the Dream anthology. I have many dreams that I've written down but never illustrated so, take that and everyone else's unillustrated dreams and you've got a lot of amazing potential for great images. Not to mention, dreams and dreaming have always been a fascinating topic for lots of people. Several individual artists have published work on their own dreams, but imagine an illustration community in a series? That would be awesome.
It would take some time to build the funds to publish, but right now all we have to do is focus on the image making and compiling.
Woops. sorry for ranting. It's an exciting idea!

Hey Dave it's Ben Z. Really dig the dream journal idea, I actually have been keeping a dream journal since I graduated high school and update whenever I have an interesting dream thats worth putting down. I always keep my laptop right next to my bed so I can instantly remember everything that happened if I need to put it down. The journal isn't illustrated, it's all in a word document as of right now but I've been thinking about turning a lot of the dreams into some kind of cohesive story or graphic novel. Anyways take care man.
